Raised Garden Bed - The Easiest Way Possible
I’m really not exaggerating about the title here. If there is an easier way to do it, I haven’t found it, and I would venture that it doesn’t exist outside of just purchasing buckets to put your garden in. The GREATEST thing about this system is that it can transform. Choose any shape on a grid pattern and you can make it. As long as you have enough of these connectors you can make anything: https://amzn.to/2MN42d1 (affiliate link)
All that is necessary is a plan as to what shape you want to build (right angle shapes only) and to figure out how many corner pieces you need, and how many of each size boards you need. In my case, I build a 6 foot by 2 foot bed. I took an 8 foot board (2”X6”X8’) and cut 2 feet off of the end, leaving me with a 6 foot piece and a 2 foot piece. I did that two times and BAM I’ve got all the ingredients (less garden soil) for a raised garden bed.
Here is a complete list of everything I used for mine:
Corner Connectors (4 of them)
2” x 6” x 8’ Lumber (2 of them… I opted to not go with pressure treated)
Garden Soil (3 bags)
